When water is being used the large red hand can be seen rotating along with the red (or black) rotor in the centre.  If they rotate constantly or when you do not think you are using water, you probably have a leak

The reading shows water usage of 218.61 m³

Each digit in the final (red) column represents 10 litres

You get a ‘free allowance’ of 213 m³ per year or 4 m³ per week or 0.58 m³ per day (580 litres or 127 gallons per day)
